FROM FAITHLESS TO FAITHFUL

Image result for faithful godWow, we are already in April, I must say I missed you all, In fact I didn't think that I would be away for this long. It's been an interesting year with it's ups and down, sometimes I feel the times I was low, weighed me down more than the elated times. I dwelt so much on the negatives that I had less time focusing on what was already working. I remember asking myself one day, what do you do when you've cried, at one point you couldn't hold on the tears anymore but then afterwards your lacrimal glands are dry and there are no more tears, it's just your heart that bleeds inside after being shuttered into a million pieces. At first you are like C'mon it's not that bad but then for everything that could go wrong is all wrong. From family, friends, church and my health, it was just too much to handle.

 Everyday you wake up hopeful just to be disappointed at the end of the day. Mark you, you are trying to do everything by the book, all you wonder is where did I go wrong? When was I left all alone? What crime did I commit to go through all this? If is praying I have prayed, I've tried to live right but it's just not working. Something always seems to be amiss. It's from one storm to another. All I said was; I need a miracle, I need to feel you close enough, I need to know that we are together even in this storm, I really needed the Heaven's to open up.

Then I remembered something, Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. It's not that God was out on a commercial break and this happened as a surprise. But He had a grand master plan. He's always working behind the scenes for me. He just needs me to WAIT on Him. 

 When God says wait, all that matters is what you do while you wait.You can wait patiently or grumpily. You can choose to praise in the storm or curse. Did you know that His Love is greater and stronger than our pain. We are reminded in:

Numbers 23:19 New International Version (NIV)

God is not human, that he should lie,
    not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
    Does he promise and not fulfill?

 All I can say is that God was and Faithful and great is His mercy towards me. I share in the words of Donnie McClurkin:
Great Is Your Mercy Toward Me

Then again, there were the great and beautiful moments. When i look back at what God has done for me in the past three months am amazed.  I can say I've seen God work, move and level mountains before me, things have worked out, every little storm has been calmed. Of course not everything worked the way I expected but His will prevailed. I can say for a fact it was much better than what I wished or desired. I've never been this happy, surrounded by beautiful friends and family. I mean people who I adore are just around and you can feel the love, joy and happiness. The ambience is just perfect and you couldn't ask God for anything better because they are the best. All this is because He has good plans for us. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I Promise

  God did you really say ….. This sounds like one of the phrases we use most. Don't feel offended I use it too, more times than I can remember. There are times that my faith is shaken to the core. It becomes easy to doubt God or rather his promises of truth for temporary mental satisfaction rather than wait on Him.  Remember Mary, yes the mother of Jesus, Imagine this with me here.
