When the battle chooses you.💔💔💔💔
Am
not sure whether I should be worried about the economic terror attacks or a
virus that is taking the whole world by storm and causing a mockery of
everything we thought we can handle or the life situations that just happen.
Jesus, there's just a lot of things that are happening and to be sincere, at this point I feel overwhelmed. A few days ago the President of Kenya unveiled a lock-down on several operations and services including church services, as in no kesha, no bible study, no visitation, no nothing and a Christian, a citizen, an employee and a parent am just not sure how to deal with everything.

Everyone is trying to get reason as to how we got here and I
just can't explain to my 6-year-old why she can't go to school and why
she can't play around freely with her friends as she used to; probably, it
might be simple explaining to her that, but how do I tell her that every time I
walk out of the door to go to work that I pose a risk not only to me but to my
entire household and surrounding. The scientists and doctors keep telling us
that "if you are not immuno-suppressed then you shouldn't be worried
about anything" How practical is this? 98% of the entire population in
Kenya realize that they are unwell in two ways, one, you either lose consciousness
and once you get to the hospital they inform you that; "am sorry sir/
madam but you've got cancer stage IV or HIV or complicated diabetes or two
you suddenly drop dead and the post mortem results will now indicate the cause
of your death etc. Most of us don’t do health checkups since we either can't
afford or just aren’t able to for whichever reason, ignorance included, and
that's why am not so sure how healthy we all are now?
God, what am trying to say is everything is just in a mess.
We are at point where everyone is for himself and God is for us all. Families
are struggling; most of them have no income, careers are in the verge of
crumbling down especially now with the issues that are hand, aka
"self-quarantine, social distance and work from home" etc. companies
are closing down and let's not even talk about the economy right now.
Your word tells us:2 Chronicles
20:17(NIV)You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your
positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give
you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to
face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ “and so I will
pray, I will pray as if my life depends on it because it actually does. I will
pray that you sort out everything, I will pray that you protect us from this
virus, that you unite this country, reconcile families and provide for us. As I
finish, I just want to say on behalf of the 48 million Kenyans that we are
nothing without you. We will choose to wait on you, Lamentation 3:6 it is good
to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. To be hidden under your
wings Psalms 91:4 He will
cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his
faithfulness will be your shield and rampart and wait to see the salvation
of the LORD
NB: Thanks for answering my last letter, everything turned
out better than I expected.
