It's been a while from my last post, anyway, I hope that you are all fine.

So a few months ago I was driving, at the junction between Museum and Ojijo road, I saw a police man standing a couple of meters away and immediately I froze, I tried moving my leg to the accelerator but it seem to be stuck at the brakes, few seconds later when I finally managed to move  I saw the him standing in front of me directing me to park aside. That's when I knew it was about to go down. My hands were sweating and my heart was racing. All I could think about is, how I'll be driving into Parklands Police Station just around the corner with my 2 children who were with me.

Let me take you back a little bit to earlier that morning. Initially I was in my Hubby's car, our son had previously been discharged from the hospital and we had a doctors appointment scheduled for later during the day.  My daughter being the responsible one, decided to accompany me. However, just after we had switched cars, I noticed that I had left my purse. I called my husband but he had already left. He assured me that I'd be fine and that he'll bring it once he's back.

So, I gathered enough courage and began to drive since we were almost getting late to our appointment, and that's when I saw the policeman. I remembered that my purse had my Driving license and panicked so bad that the policeman could smell my fear from where he stood.

As per the norm, he went to check on the insurance validity as he greeted me, I knew it was just a few seconds before he could ask for my DL, I wondered what was going to happen to me.

Him: " Good Morning Madam, How are you?"
Me: " Good Morning Mkubwa(Senior), Siko poa sana, my child is unwell" (while shaking vigorously )
Him: "Madam, toa gari, peleka watoto hospitali"
Me: With a sigh of relief," Asante Afande".

I can't explain the joy that I felt when I drove off. You should meet Alicia to re-enact this story coz she's never seen me this humble. Her version is quite funny actually. Every time we talk about this she laughs so hard.

A few days ago, God reminded me of this episode, just as a lesson of how fear attracts the enemy. Have you noticed that when you are afraid, things move from bad to worse. During that time you have thought's of how impossible that situation is, you lose faith and you doubt if you will ever make it through it.
Remember:

Are there things that however much  you want to trust God you still fear that they won't work out? Or are there times that you have so much doubt in your mind? Are you in the process of transition and you feel stuck? Are there situations or events that have happened in your life that give you so much fear to look at life beyond that and you are fixated at that moment?

This word is definitely for you. Let's speak to our mountains, let's speak life to our situations, let's not freeze and look for a way out but rather let's continue to fight for what is rightfully ours in the Kingdom of God. Don't give up just yet but rather take it to the Lord in prayer.
Remember that God Loves you dearly and He is concerned about you. Don't let the enemy steal your joy today.
Isaiah 43
43
But now, this is what the Lord says—
    he who created you, Jacob,
    he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
    they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
    the flames will not set you ablaze.
